XeliteMed BondFix Bone Cement
BondFix is an acrylic cement for use in vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty techniques. It comes in the form of a sterile liquid ampoule and a sterile powder pouch.
BondFix is indicated for the fixation of pathological fractures of bone using vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty. Painful vertebral compression fractures of the vertebral body may result from osteoporosis, benign lesions (hemangioma), or malignant lesions (metastatic cancers, myeloma).
Implantation of BondFix bone cement should only be performed by qualified operators with sound knowledge and full mastery in preparation techniques specific to bone cement products. Preparation techniques may be required from the manufacturer or the distributors qualified by XELITE BIOMED.
- Powder part: Polymethyl Methacrylate, Barium Sulfate, Benzoyl Peroxide
- Liquid part: Methyl Methacrylate, N,N-Dimethyl-p-toluidine, Hydroquinone
BondFix should be stored in its original, unopened packaging, in a dry, clean place. Keep away from light and at a temperature of 25°C maximum.
For controlled and optimal use of BondFix, the doses are to be stored at the intended operating room temperature for a minimum of 24 hours before use.
