XeliteMed CeraOss
Bioactive Synthetic Putty

XeliteMed CeraOss Bioactive Synthetic Putty is a kind of bone graft substitute. The main compositions of CeraOss include beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) and bioactive glass 45S5.

CeraOss is osteoconductive. CeraOss can be gradually absorbed and replaced with bone during the healing process.

CeraOss is an implant intended to fill bony voids or gaps of the skeletal system. These osseous defects are surgically created or caused by traumatic injury, infection or tumor removal. CeraOss is for temporary filling and not intrinsic to the stability of the bony structure.

  • Beta-tricalcium phosphate
  • Bioactive glass 45S5
  • Polyethylene glycol
  • Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose
  • Glycerol
  • Water for injection
  1. Before using the product, please perform bone debris removal or necrotic tissue debridement and control the bleeding at the implant site.
  2. Choose the proper specification of product based on the bone defect type and size.
  3. Open the outer packaging according to the aseptic technique used in surgery rooms.
  4. Remove CeraOss from the inner blister and shape it manually, then fill CeraOss into the site with forceps. Mold CeroOss slightly to the desired contours. It is necessary to confirm that CeraOss shall fill the defect and contact viable bone as much as possible.
  • CeraOss should be stored at a temperature of 25°C maximum and in a clean and dry environment.

  • CeraOss can be considered sterile unless the inner packaging has been opened or damaged. CeraOss should not be resterilized.

  • Single use only. Do not use CeraOss after the expiration date.
